Grainger Museum Hosting Historic Synthesizers Exhibition

Synthesizers: Sound of the Future is a collaboration between the Grainger Museum and the Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio, exploring the Melbourne scene from 1969-1974.

The Grainger Museum was at the heart of musical experimentation in Melbourne in the late 1960s. Composer and teacher Keith Humble returned from Paris brimming with avant-garde ideas and established a renegade composition studio at the Grainger Museum using early analogue synthesizers.
