In the last 10 years in the Australia, vinyl sales have sharply increased by 4717 per cent. According to statistics released by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), a miserly $392,000 vinyl albums sold in Australia in 2008. Since then, the format has enjoyed stellar growth, hitting $18.1 million worth of vinyl records sold in 2017 nationwide.

The vinyl revival has come at a fascinating time as music has never been easier to access thanks to streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
