The week has been dominated by a bunch of Australian electronic releases. Kilter issued his debut album Through The Distortion, while ALTA released their first track of the year and Panama dropped his second single for 2017.
Track of the Week: SZA – ‘Supermodels’
SZA released her debut album, Ctrl, on Friday, which features none other than Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott. ‘Supermodels’ is the opening track on Ctrl, and bleeds massive Frank Ocean vibes. Floaty guitar chords drift through the entirety of track, as SZA sings flawlessly about her vulnerabilities in a broken relationship. Around the two-minute mark, shaky percussion takes the song up a gear, creating a dramatic and dreamy conclusion.
